World Missions

As part of a large network of churches of over 4,000 church throughout the world, The Potters House Church is committed in doing its part in reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are engaged in sending aid and conducting missions trips.

Giving to the Nations

The Potters House Church sends funds to our mother church which has sent over 70 missionary churches around the world. Our church also sends aid to missionaries and workers when needed. We have a vision of one day sending out workers and supporting them into the nations.

A Local Church with a Worldwide Vision

We are committed to doing our part of the Great Commission in reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are not only engaged in local outreach throughout Lynwood, Compton, and Los Angeles, but also seek to make an impact in the nations. This is at the heart of our church and the fellowship of churches we are a part of known as the Christian Fellowship Ministries. Our fellowship has planted over 3200 churches nationally and internationally in over 120 nations.

The Potters House Church is actively involved in the mission by partnering with our mother church, giving to missionaries, and taking mission trips annually. We have a vision to one day plant workers in the nations as our fellowship and mother church has.

Recent Trip to Cuba

Sept 2024

JPastor Quiles recently returned from Cuba, preaching for 3 churches while he was there. God is moving in Cuba! Please continue to pray for the people of Cuba.

SUPPORT WORLD MISSIONS

Going into Long Beach, California!

We recently launched our very own couple into the city of Long Beach, California! Cameron and Vanessa Quiles have served in our church for over 3 years and grew up in church since they were both young kids. Their family is relocating to Long Beach soon, and are launching June 16, 2024. Our church will serve as a mother church and support this new work!

Mission Trips

We participate in mission trips to help reach nations as Jesus has called us to. We are to help those in need, and that is exactly what we are involved in. Many of these trips are accompanied with local outreaches led by the missionary church and revival meetings held by our pastor. These mission trips are available to anyone who chooses to come

Tehuacan, Mexico - Sierra Negra Mountains, Mexico

Our church assisted in helping the missionary works in Tehuacan and their baby church in the Sierra Negra Mountains. This is an annual trip we anticipate taking.

Bolivia

El Alto, Bolivia

Pastor Quiles went to El Alto, Bolivia in April 2023. The Potters House Church has deep relationship with the missionaries William and Nery Ortiz. The Ortiz family pioneered a sister church in San Pedro in which our church assisted them over the years. Pastor Quiles plans to make this trip annually as well.

Cuba

Havana, Cuba

Havana has over 7 churches in the region. The Potters House Church and our pastor has relationship with pastor Angel Ortiz who pioneered a work in Cuba. Pastor Quiles plans to visit Cuba to help inspire and encourage missionaries and those churches.

Katmandu, Nepal

New Family

In April 2023, Nick and Michelle Rogers were sent by our mother church - The Door Church of El Paso to begin a new work in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Potters House Church is partnering with our mother church by sending aid. Luis and his wife Cynthia took over the work in April 2024. God is still moving in Nepal!
